The Products

All of our Belvedere Belgian-style chocolate products are all-natural, made to the Belgian standards, by our Belgian Master Chocolatier, using only the highest quality ingredients. Unlike many other Chocolatiers, we do not adulterate our chocolate by mixing in a lower quality chocolate. Please visit our Products page for more information on what we offer.

The Business

The Belvedere Belgian Chocolate Shop – Boulder strongly believes in giving back to the local community through such non-profits as Boulder Community Hospital, Boulder County Aids Project, Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Non-Violence, the Longmont Humane Society, The Community Foundation Serving Boulder County and many others. We also make every attempt to be environmentally friendly; we recycle extensively, are PACE certified and to the best of our knowledge, the only chocolate shop in the state that is 100% wind powered!

The Owners

Owned by Chris and Maryfrances Toomey, the Belvedere Belgian Chocolate Shop ™ in Boulder is an independent, family run business.  On just about any day of the week, you will find at least one of the owners in the shop.

Chris is a former Optical Engineer, Sales Development Engineer, and former Police Officer.  Chris is an active member of the Downtown Boulder, Inc. Board of Directors and the Longmont Humane Society Board of Directors.

Maryfrances works at a local non-profit hospital, Boulder Community Hospital, and is actively involved in the lives of their children, Ryan and Aryn Davy.
